Welcome to your WriteVenture

I am a writer.

You are a writer.

Say it with me.

I am a writer.

Welcome to your Write Venture.

You are a writer – so don’t sell yourself short. Call yourself a writer. There’s nothing wrong with it – it’s part of who you are. You may not be the best writer, you may not be J.K. Rowling or Stephen King, but you can find your own success in writing if you try.

Don’t know where to start? That’s what I’m here for. My name is Callie and I am here to help you begin your WriteVenture.

What is a “WriteVenture?”

Writing is a continuous learning and growing experience. It is something personal, something you create for yourself. But it’s also meant to be shared and critiqued by others. If you shared your writing with no one else in the world, how would you grow? How would you become better? You wouldn’t.

I call this the WriteVenture: the journey to continuously grow and increase your writing skills until the project you have been working on is finally ready to be shared with the world in the medium it was meant to be shared.

Then you begin another project.

The WriteVenture never really ends. It’s never perfect either. Your writing will most likely never be perfect – there will always be something you want to change and improve. It will definitely never be loved by everyone (there will always be a critic.)

The fact is – You love to write. You want to learn more. You want to be better and improve your writing. Otherwise you wouldn’t be here. And neither would I!

Ask yourself these questions:

What is your WriteVenture?
Why do you want to write?
How will you tell the story you were meant to tell?

Let this blog be the first stop on your venture to accomplish what you may have first thought to be impossible – to finally put words down on paper and turn your words into actions.

Set out on a venture to bring your story to life – whatever it may be.

Follow me on my own WriteVenture and I’ll be here to help you and guide you along yours.
